Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Maintenance Technicians based on production schedules.
• Review work orders and preventative maintenance needs, assigning tasks based on technician skill sets and priority.
• Develop, distribute, and continuously re-evaluate preventative maintenance schedules for equipment to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Review factory downtime reports daily and collaborate with technicians to implement improvements.
• Manage maintenance parts and equipment inventory in coordination with the Purchasing department.
• Develop and implement skill-building plans and standard operating procedures for the department.
• Ensure facility safety through strict compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically with utilities, facilities, or production equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency with PCs and strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proven experience with CMMS and work order management systems.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience with planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Knowledge of automatic controls is highly desired.

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Military or extensive hands-on industrial work experience.
