Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign daily repair and maintenance jobs for the fleet
• Coordinate work with the Lead Mechanic and Director of Operations
• Review DVIR reports and red-tagged equipment to ensure safety compliance
• Manage parts inventory, including receiving shipments and maintaining database accuracy
• Process repair orders and enter handwritten documentation into company computer systems
• Handle vehicle registration, titles, renewals, and insurance documentation
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing inspections, managing invoices, and coordinating with vendors
• Manage fleet transactions including DMV paperwork, citations, and fuel card coordination

Requirements

• Experience in fleet maintenance, transportation, logistics, or trucking operations
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail regarding maintenance records and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience within the transportation industry
• Knowledge of diesel shop operations or vehicle maintenance workflows
• Experience with fleet maintenance tracking software
