Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality customer service to residents by responding to maintenance requests professionally
• Plan, organize, and direct maintenance personnel, including work order assignments and move-in/move-out inspections
• Act as a working supervisor to train and support maintenance technicians
• Manage maintenance orders and maintain inventory control within budget guidelines
• Assist in creating and implementing preventative maintenance plans and performing property inspections
• Monitor compliance with company SOPs, federal, and state regulations
• Solicit and evaluate maintenance contract proposals

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent; technical school training preferred
• Minimum 6 years of multi-family housing maintenance experience
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or coordination experience
• Certification or comparable experience in four or more trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
• EPA Type I and II certification
• Basic training for LBP and mold
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database applications
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for work
• Ability to provide and maintain own basic hand and power tools
