Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee equipment installations, repairs, and modifications for electric energy generation and distribution
• Schedule and provide emergency or unscheduled repairs of production equipment
• Assign work orders to the maintenance team for timely service
• Enforce safety rules regarding hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical apparatus
• Evaluate machinery and building states to recommend upgrades
• Hire, supervise, and evaluate maintenance staff
• Develop and train employees for increasing responsibilities
• Implement plant reliability programs including Predictive and Preventative maintenance systems
• Manage facility new equipment installations and infrastructure projects

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years related maintenance work experience
• At least 2 years of experience at a leadership level
• Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50LBS
• Ability to work in non-climate controlled environments with high noise levels

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-year associate degree or bachelor's degree in a related field
• Trade certifications for electrical or mechanical systems
