Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to internal maintenance staff, external contractors, and third-party vendors.
• Implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the preservation and upkeep of all properties.
• Ensure optimal functioning of building systems and material handling equipment, including conveyors, lifts, and sprinkler systems.
• Hire, train, and manage qualified personnel, ensuring all staff follow company safety standards.
• Establish maintenance policies, determine job assignments, and maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Obtain quotes for contracted services and monitor vendor performance to ensure quality standards are met.
• Respond to emergency situations and serve as a member of the facilities emergency response team.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies regarding building, fire, environmental, and OSHA guidelines.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant work experience in maintenance or facilities management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Technical knowledge of building services and mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a complex workload and supervise technical support teams.
