Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of 15 to 25 employees to develop their talents within the organization
• Manage the workload and individual performance of unionized employees
• Oversee building and equipment maintenance activities to ensure operational readiness
• Manage team performance using key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Drive continuous improvement through the application of problem-solving processes and Lean principles
• Identify, document, and standardize key processes to achieve organizational objectives
• Optimize the sharing of knowledge and best practices across the team

Requirements

• Management experience in a unionized environment, ideally within the manufacturing or aerospace industry
• Proven experience managing building and equipment maintenance activities
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Good understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in both French and English
