Maintenance Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the maintenance department
• Monitor equipment and systems to ensure efficiency and functionality
• Manage the CMMS and ensure work orders are closed in a timely manner
• Develop preventative maintenance tasks and manage spare parts inventory
• Act as site point of contact for capital improvement work
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Train maintenance team members on PMs and safe work practices (LOTO, confined space, etc.)
• Manage equipment uptime and reliability to minimize production impact

Requirements

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food or controlled environments
• Proven track record of leading teams and managing high-level scheduling
• Proficiency in CMMS and MS Excel for data analysis and metrics
• Expert knowledge of PLC, servo, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to interpret industrial electronics schematics and AC/DC controls
• Ability to be on-call for after-hours or weekend facility needs
• OSHA certifications (PIT/Scissor Lift) and experience with LOTO and Hot Work protocols
• High school degree or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
