Maintenance Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident and management work orders
• Oversee maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation activities to ensure quality
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and community features daily to identify hazards
• Manage maintenance supplies inventory and adhere to budget guidelines
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program and a well-organized maintenance shop
• Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff under the direction of the Community Manager
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and safety standards
• Manage unit inspections and community key control

Requirements

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience
• One year of supervisory experience
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry
• HVAC certification
• Valid Driver’s License
• Availability for on-call and weekend work
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance programs
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety-related laws
