Maintenance Specialist I

Responsibilities

• Collect work orders and ensure all required summaries, data, and calibrations are included
• Input pertinent information into the CMMS program
• Prepare work orders for initiation, final review, and signature
• Track work orders through closure and prepare transmittals
• Ensure timely development and release of work packages and task requests to support maintenance and startup schedules
• Assemble PM work orders including routing forms, drawings, and MSDS
• Support the Waste Treatment Plant Nuclear Safety Quality Culture by emphasizing safety and quality values
• Perform work in compliance with environmental permits and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, or economics with 1 year of experience
• OR Associate's degree in related field with 3 years of experience
• OR High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of experience
• Proficiency with CMMS software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance, scheduling, and task hazard identification
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule (4 days on / 4 days off, days or nights)
• Ability to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site

Preferred Qualifications

• Work Control experience in a DOE, ISMS, VPP, or Commercial Nuclear environment
