Maintenance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, event, and regularly scheduled cleaning and maintenance projects
• Maintain venue assets including carpet, painting, elevators, bathrooms, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
• Inspect facility systems to detect malfunctions and determine repair solutions
• Develop standard procedures for cleanliness and upkeep
• Assist with purchasing work materials
• Schedule and supervise part-time cleaners based on event schedules
• Coordinate with outside vendors for repairs and maintenance

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• 0-2 years of related work experience
• Knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
• Experience with cleaning solutions and general repair/maintenance
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to climb, crawl, bend, and stoop

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC experience
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code
• Previous supervision experience
• Basic computer skills
