Maintenance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, event, and regularly scheduled cleaning and maintenance projects
• Maintain venue functionality including carpet repair, painting, elevator repair, and bathroom maintenance
• Oversee upkeep of air-conditioning, heating, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Inspect facility systems to detect malfunctions and determine repair solutions
• Develop standard procedures for cleanliness and asset upkeep
• Schedule and supervise part-time cleaners according to venue event schedules
• Coordinate with outside vendors on repair and maintenance work

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• 0-2 years of related work experience
• Knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
• Experience with proper cleaning solutions and general repair/maintenance
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to climb, crawl, bend, and stoop

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC experience
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code
• Previous supervision experience
• Basic computer skills
