Maintenance Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CMMS and PDM systems in the OSB plant
• Schedule and coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance activities and plant outages
• Maintain electronic and physical filing systems for all PDM data sheets
• Coordinate assigned projects within time, cost, and quality guidelines
• Prepare maintenance outage packages for planned maintenance activities
• Develop preventive maintenance strategies and instructions
• Generate reports and statistics to improve plant maintenance and operations
• Train staff on the use of the CMMS system
• Estimate costs of personnel, parts, and supplies for scheduled maintenance and projects

Requirements

• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (complex spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables)
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical processes
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to communicate effectively with associates, vendors, and contractors
• Ability to recognize maintenance issues and make logical recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of Maintenance Planning experience in a manufacturing environment
• Intermediate knowledge of PDM systems
• Intermediate knowledge of CMMS or other maintenance planning systems
