Maintenance Repairer 2

Responsibilities

• Perform roof maintenance, including cleaning and repairing roofs, gutters, downspouts, and drains
• Assist in sheet metal fabrication and installation of flashing, awnings, and ductwork
• Support carpentry projects such as repairing floors, doors, walls, and ceilings
• Assist with painting and plastering tasks, including demolition and material hauling
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, including large man-lifts, scissor-lifts, and forklifts
• Provide guidance and support to Maintenance Repairer 1 employees as needed
• Respond to emergency work requests as an essential employee

Requirements

• Two years of experience or training in building construction, maintenance, or mechanical equipment repair
• Completion of a two-year vocational technical program in construction or engineering, OR twelve semester hours in construction management or engineering
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to operate large man-lift equipment safely
