Maintenance Repair Worker 2

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment, including heating lines, thermostats, air conditioners, and boilers.
• Execute electrical work involving the installation and maintenance of power systems, wiring, breakers, and switches.
• Maintain plumbing systems by repairing water and sewage lines, sinks, faucets, toilets, and pipes.
• Conduct chemical testing to maintain boiler and cooling equipment.
• Perform painting and general facility upkeep, including fixtures, rooms, and furniture.
• Handle routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, ballasts, and fixtures.
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations related to building systems, weather, or operational issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid State of Ohio vehicle operator’s license.
• Experience with low voltage electricity and basic HVAC equipment.
• Proficiency with light commercial plumbing and carpentry skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds.

• Additional formal education or training in the trades.
