About the role
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Perform preventative maintenance on production machines and facility equipment
- Identify and recommend corrections on electrical issues using knowledge of drives and PLCs
- Complete work orders and update maintenance tracking systems
- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
- Respond to safety concerns and rectify immediate dangers
- Maintain building safety, utilities, ventilation, and plumbing
Requirements
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of electricity and electrical troubleshooting
- Experience with welding (MIG and/or arc welder)
- Ability to understand and interpret gauges, tools, and instruments
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with PLCs and drives
- Forklift experience
- Relevant technical certifications
