Maintenance Reliability Technician

Responsibilities

• Own equipment reliability for assigned areas by planning, prioritizing, and coordinating repair and maintenance activities.
• Lead the execution and continuous improvement of predictive, preventive, and reactive maintenance programs.
• Perform root cause failure analysis of equipment downtime and implement sustainable prevention plans.
• Use Lean/Six Sigma tools and methodologies to improve reliability and analyze repetitive maintenance events.
• Manage critical spare part inventories and develop replacement plans for obsolete equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and serve as a subject matter expert for assigned systems and troubleshooting strategies.
• Coordinate projects and repairs with contractors, vendors, and OEM resources.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering or maintenance experience in a food processing plant environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of industrial electrical systems and the ability to read and interpret prints and schematics.
• Experience using CMMS programs, specifically Infor 7i.
• Working knowledge of machining and welding fundamentals.
• Proficiency in using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and developing risk assessment models.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience with utilities, HVAC systems, mechanical power transmission, and PLCs/networking.
