Maintenance & Reliability Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance and reliability resources within the plant to drive asset reliability and operational excellence.
• Develop annual and 3-year maintenance budget plans, including investment strategies for turnaround cycles.
• Meet annual goals and KPI improvements regarding maintenance/turnaround costs and asset reliability.
• Manage maintenance and reliability personnel, including goal setting, role definition, and personal development.
• Drive a culture of reliability and maintenance improvement across the organization.
• Ensure maintenance and reliability disciplines and standards are in place to meet customer needs and quality requirements.
• Champion the use of Management of Change (MOC) processes for equipment and material modifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or a related discipline) from an ABET accredited program.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience within a chemical plant in an engineering, maintenance, or reliability engineering role.
• Detailed knowledge of maintenance work processes, including planning, scheduling, and logistics.
• Detailed knowledge of reliability strategies and work processes.
• Demonstrated experience acting as a champion for organizational change.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Engineering.
• Broad-based experience across various chemical plant areas such as Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance.
• Successful completion of a leadership development training program.
• Experience with applicable building codes or certifications such as NFPA-NEC, API, or ASME.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) designation.
