Maintenance & Refrigeration Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of 8 technicians, including refrigeration operators, to ensure efficient maintenance operations
• Manage the Preventive Maintenance Program and ensure all maintenance work orders are completed properly
• Ensure the safety of mechanics, refrigeration operators, and facility equipment, including the wastewater area
• Partner with the Maintenance Manager on facility projects and work directly with contractors to ensure compliance with company policies
• Monitor downtime records to identify and implement efficiency improvements
• Maintain accurate training records, equipment logs, timesheets, and other essential documentation
• Supervise staff through interviewing, training, performance appraisals, and conflict resolution

Requirements

• One year college or technical certificate, or 6-12 months of related experience and training
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Valid driver's license
• Completion of respirator training
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Strong mathematical skills for computing rates, ratios, and percentages
