Maintenance Plant

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of plant repair including conveyor systems, electrical, plumbing, pneumatics, and welding
• Utilize all tools safely in compliance with manufacturer specifications and company policy
• Assist in scheduling plant and equipment for work and repair based on supervisor priorities
• Adhere to Lock-Out Tag-Out and all safety/environmental procedures, including wearing proper PPE
• Utilize crane equipment, hydraulic equipment, and specialized tools within safety limits
• Complete necessary daily paperwork, including logs, repair requests, Job Hazard Analysis, and permits
• Maintain availability for scheduled shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) and overtime, including weekends

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Trade school certification
• One year of related experience and/or training
• Qualified and experienced welder with the ability to pass a physical welding exam
• Electrical experience ranging from 120V to 460V 3 phase
• Ability to troubleshoot control circuits and change electric motors and components
• Proficiency in pneumatic and hydraulic equipment troubleshooting
• Basic computer skills for data entry, work orders, and email
