Maintenance Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define strategies, policies, and tactics to ensure correct equipment operation
• Elaborate medium and long-term maintenance plans for assigned fleets
• Document specific maintenance procedures, programs, and controls
• Report daily, weekly, and monthly fleet management indicators
• Analyze technical reports including mechanical availability, hourly costs, and component hours
• Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance programs with client planning areas
• Prepare annual maintenance budgets (OPEX and CAPEX)
• Manage cost control dashboards for spare parts, components, lubricants, and other resources
• Perform maintenance process audits and propose corrective actions

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance planning or management of heavy machinery
• Experience with mining equipment (underground and/or surface)
• Knowledge of maintenance engineering and heavy machinery management
• Experience in maintenance planning, indicator analysis, and OPEX/CAPEX budgeting
• Proficiency in CMMS and/or ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Project)
• Intermediate English proficiency
• Valid A2B driver's license
• Availability to work under a 14x7 roster and travel to high-altitude operations
