Maintenance Planning Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly maintenance schedules in coordination with production and sanitation
• Convert approved maintenance requests into planned work orders including labor, parts, and tools
• Coordinate preventive, corrective, emergency, and project-based maintenance work
• Maintain accurate CMMS records, equipment history, and preventive maintenance schedules
• Communicate maintenance priorities, schedule changes, and resource needs to stakeholders
• Track work order backlog, PM completion, and downtime trends
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities
• Support compliance with plant safety, lockout/tagout, GMP, and food safety regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or industrial maintenance preferred
• Experience using a CMMS or maintenance work order system preferred
• Working knowledge of preventive maintenance and equipment reliability
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Ability to read maintenance documentation, manuals, and schematics
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment following all safety and PPE protocols
• Must comply with all USDA and FDA regulations
