Maintenance Planning Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence by supporting the planning, management, and execution of standardized maintenance activities.
• Manage maintenance and repair costs and personnel overtime within established budgets.
• Utilize ERP software (JDE) for equipment maintenance setup, management, and reporting.
• Review maintenance work orders daily to ensure compliance and notify management of deficiencies.
• Create new preventive maintenance work orders, including service types, task instructions, and PM schedules.
• Coordinate with the storeroom and purchasing teams to ensure required parts are available for maintenance days.
• Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support TPM implementation.
• Establish and monitor canline tooling control, inventory, and change control systems.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics engineering (or equivalent technical career).
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance.
• Proven experience with maintenance PDCA and SOP development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of TPM and 5S methodologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both Spanish (Native) and English (85% proficiency).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing tools and Six Sigma.
• Green Belt certification.
• Direct experience with TPM implementation.
