Maintenance Planner - Sr.

Responsibilities

• Develop work requests from 'Planning Required' to 'Ready to Schedule' status within AIMM
• Assess corrective actions, including safety requirements, environmental impacts, and unit status
• Develop contractor scopes of work, generate contract requisitions, and assist in soliciting bids
• Ensure availability of maintenance parts and optimize staging and kitting for worker efficiency
• Participate in weekly schedule development, outage planning, and budget development processes
• Monitor and manage the backlog of work orders with accurate task estimates
• Manage and control plant inventory, vehicles, and credit card reconciliations in accordance with company policy
• Conduct contractor safety orientations and oversee onsite contractor activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
• At least 10 years of Power Plant experience
• Practical working knowledge of maintenance techniques for plant systems and components
• Proficiency with AIMM and Passport systems
• Experience in inventory control and management
• Strong ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dedicated Maintenance Planning role
