About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify and organize executable work plans, including necessary materials, tools, permits, and labor requirements
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance, and emergency requests across facilities
- Determine work priorities using Risk Assessment Matrices and assess ongoing maintenance projects
- Develop detailed work packages to drive precision maintenance and create weekly and daily schedules
- Manage and schedule activities for third-party contractors and external service providers
- Coordinate with Purchasing and maintenance coordinators to optimize inventory management of supplies and tools
- Monitor workflow compliance, manage the maintenance backlog, and maintain equipment Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety and food safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Mechanical or Electrical degree/diploma or a related field
- 3+ years of maintenance experience within the food industry, specifically in coordination, planning, or scheduling
- Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of safe work practices, including Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), confined spaces, and job task permitting

- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
