About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify and organize executable work plans, including necessary materials, tools, permits, and labor requirements
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance, and emergency requests across facilities
  • Determine work priorities using Risk Assessment Matrices and assess ongoing maintenance projects
  • Develop detailed work packages to drive precision maintenance and create weekly and daily schedules
  • Manage and schedule activities for third-party contractors and external service providers
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and maintenance coordinators to optimize inventory management of supplies and tools
  • Monitor workflow compliance, manage the maintenance backlog, and maintain equipment Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety and food safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

  • Mechanical or Electrical degree/diploma or a related field
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience within the food industry, specifically in coordination, planning, or scheduling
  • Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Knowledge of safe work practices, including Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), confined spaces, and job task permitting

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
