Maintenance Planner

Responsibilities

• Administer the CMMS system and ensure accurate daily updates
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Facilities departments to create purchase requisitions and orders
• Source OEM and after-market vendors for spare parts
• Manage communications with vendors regarding purchase orders and deliveries
• Resolve purchase issues and coordinate with accounts payable for invoice processing
• Monitor and reconcile spare parts usage and inventory levels
• Assign CMMS numbers for new spare parts and assist with inventory optimization
• Verify that all completed preventative maintenance work orders are closed out
• Support maintenance personnel with CMMS-related issues

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in work order systems, spare parts management, or maintenance processes
• High School Diploma or GED
• Advanced math and computer skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 300 lbs
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as workload demands
