Maintenance Planner

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs for equipment and machinery.
• Coordinate with production areas to schedule equipment downtime for maintenance tasks, ensuring quality and timely completion.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Superintendent to develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans and programs.
• Continuously improve maintenance routines to increase equipment reliability.
• Perform failure analysis to determine root causes and implement short- and medium-term corrective actions.
• Research and analyze new equipment, maintenance methods, and tools to optimize processes.
• Supervise contractors performing maintenance work to ensure quality and adherence to schedules.
• Develop inspection and testing procedures and programs for equipment.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of drilling equipment, jumbos, bolters, scooptrams, and general underground mining equipment.
• Knowledge of NOM023 and NOM029 standards.
• Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
• Knowledge of winch usage standards.
