Maintenance Planner

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage maintenance schedules for all major plant equipment using EMaintenance
• Review equipment run times and daily production requirements to balance maintenance needs with production targets
• Plan shutdown maintenance work and source critical spare parts in a timely manner
• Manage inventory of necessary materials and supplies, re-ordering as required
• Schedule and coordinate work for outside contractors
• Provide backup supervision for maintenance employees as needed
• Liaise with the production department to ensure timely information sharing
• Assist the Engineering Department with CAD technical drawings and reverse engineering of specialized tools
• Participate in internal quality audits and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance planning role
• Technical diploma from a community college or equivalent combination of experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with EMaintenance or similar maintenance planning software
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Ability to work in a split environment (50% office, 50% plant floor)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software such as Solidworks or AutoCAD
• Experience in reverse engineering specialized tooling
