About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage maintenance schedules for all major plant equipment using EMaintenance
- Review equipment run times and daily production requirements to balance maintenance needs with production targets
- Plan shutdown maintenance work and source critical spare parts in a timely manner
- Manage inventory of necessary materials and supplies, re-ordering as required
- Schedule and coordinate work for outside contractors
- Provide backup supervision for maintenance employees as needed
- Liaise with the production department to ensure timely information sharing
- Assist the Engineering Department with CAD technical drawings and reverse engineering of specialized tools
- Participate in internal quality audits and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance planning role
- Technical diploma from a community college or equivalent combination of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with EMaintenance or similar maintenance planning software
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a split environment (50% office, 50% plant floor)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CAD software such as Solidworks or AutoCAD
- Experience in reverse engineering specialized tooling
