About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance and operation work schedules to ensure continued equipment functionality and plant productivity.
  • Create detailed job plans, safety work plans, and MOC documentation to ensure work proceeds safely and efficiently.
  • Manage long-lead time items and provide expert advice to the management team regarding resource and material management.
  • Assess the priority of maintenance requests and determine appropriate staffing resources and job requirements.
  • Formulate maintenance plans, provide budgetary information, and develop metrics to drive improvements in maintenance operations.
  • Manage inventory and warehouse counts, ensuring obsolete equipment is remediated annually.
  • Collaborate with operations on hazard isolation and critical component requirements to ensure site safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a maintenance or engineering-related field, or equivalent vocational/technical experience.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in maintenance planning or plant operations.
  • Proficiency in Maximo and advanced knowledge of job planning, labor management, and job estimating.
  • Expertise in department-specific software, databases, and spreadsheets.
  • Strong understanding of power maintenance, plant operations functions, and administrative controls.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise high-level judgment in complex maintenance environments.
