Maintenance Planner II

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance and operation work schedules to ensure continued equipment functionality and plant productivity.
• Create detailed job plans and safe work plans, coordinating with operations on hazard isolation and critical component requirements.
• Manage long-lead time items and provide expert advice to the management team on resource and material management.
• Assess the priority of maintenance requests and determine appropriate staffing resources and job requirements.
• Formulate maintenance plans, provide budgetary information, and develop metrics to drive improvements in maintenance operations.
• Manage inventory, including warehouse counts and the remediation of obsolete equipment.
• Investigate and resolve complex maintenance issues and provide strategic analysis regarding equipment repair or replacement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a maintenance or engineering-related field, or equivalent vocational/technical experience.
• 4-7 years of relevant experience in maintenance planning or plant operations.
• Expertise in Maximo, job planning, labor management, and job estimating.
• Advanced knowledge of plant operations and power maintenance functions.
• Proficiency in department-specific software, databases, and spreadsheets.
• Ability to work independently and exercise high-level discretion and judgment.
