Maintenance Planner – Fixed Assets

Responsibilities

• Review incoming service requests to define the scope of work
• Conduct field walks with site managers and contractors to identify job requirements and parts
• Identify site specific safety hazards and implement controls
• Establish and maintain work schedules, forecasting hours and required skills
• Maintain communication with stakeholders to minimize operational disruption
• Rent or procure equipment and specialized tools
• Review and share engineering and OEM technical manuals and drawings
• Coordinate with management to prioritize work for reliability
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs and build robust maintenance programs
• Initiate, track, and closeout Purchase Requisitions
• Recommend innovations to improve mill productivity

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Millwrighting or Maintenance Planning
• Industrial Mechanic College Diploma and/or Certificate of Qualification
• Experience with CMMS (Maximo)
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Ability to read technical drawings
