About the role
Responsibilities
- Review incoming service requests to define the scope of work
- Conduct field walks with site managers and contractors to identify job requirements and parts
- Identify site specific safety hazards and implement controls
- Establish and maintain work schedules, forecasting hours and required skills
- Maintain communication with stakeholders to minimize operational disruption
- Rent or procure equipment and specialized tools
- Review and share engineering and OEM technical manuals and drawings
- Coordinate with management to prioritize work for reliability
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs and build robust maintenance programs
- Initiate, track, and closeout Purchase Requisitions
- Recommend innovations to improve mill productivity
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in Millwrighting or Maintenance Planning
- Industrial Mechanic College Diploma and/or Certificate of Qualification
- Experience with CMMS (Maximo)
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Ability to read technical drawings
