About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and plan work from the backlog within the Maximo CMMS to ensure efficient execution of maintenance and reliability programs.
- Drive the implementation of the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) program and establish metrics based on CMMS data.
- Perform field walk-downs for approved work orders to determine required time, materials, tools, and craft needs.
- Coordinate cross-departmental communication and lead weekly scheduling meetings to optimize resource utilization.
- Request and verify purchase orders for all required materials to ensure accuracy and availability before scheduling work.
- Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to identify and prevent the reoccurrence of equipment issues.
- Support Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Quality, and Food Safety systems from a work planning perspective.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support plant operations.
Requirements
- Two-year technical degree in a STEM area (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math); Engineering Technology is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge and experience working with a CMMS; Maximo experience is highly preferred.
- Detailed understanding of manufacturing plant operations and maintenance.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within a food production environment.
- Strong commitment to safety and high standards for quality.
