Maintenance Officer

Responsibilities

• Undertake general property repairs and maintenance to ensure functionality and safety
• Assist in the execution of the preventative maintenance program
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas
• Provide induction and supervision of external contractors as required
• Maintain accurate daily work records and service schedules
• Support the Maintenance Manager with contractor works and maintenance projects

Requirements

• Previous hands-on building or property maintenance experience
• Experience in a hotel environment is preferred
• Experience supporting or implementing preventative maintenance programs
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Availability to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
• Must have valid working rights within Australia or New Zealand
