About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform set-up, preventative maintenance, installation, and repair of site equipment, utilities, and facilities in accordance with SOPs, GMP, and EH&S policies.
  • Troubleshoot and investigate variances in equipment performance to ensure proper functioning.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to line procedures and equipment to enhance productivity, quality, or safety.
  • Fabricate parts using various machines, including mills and lathes.
  • Execute qualification and validation protocols for the installation and commissioning of equipment.
  • Manage work orders and spare parts identification using SAP.
  • Maintain accurate compliance documentation, including log books and timesheets.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Technician or technology diploma preferred).
  • 3+ years of relevant maintenance experience.
  • Valid Mechanical (Millwright) license in Ontario (Required).
  • Proficiency with tools, equipment, and measuring, calibration, or diagnostic devices.
  • Knowledge of SAP, PLC, BAS systems, and Windows.
  • Understanding of cGMP and WHMIS.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or another GMP-regulated environment.
  • Electrical license (Industrial or Construction & Maintenance Electrician).
  • Calibration certification (Electro-Mechanical, Instrument, or Electronics).
  • HVAC Technician certification.
