About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform set-up, preventative maintenance, installation, and repair of site equipment, utilities, and facilities in accordance with SOPs, GMP, and EH&S policies.
- Troubleshoot and investigate variances in equipment performance to ensure proper functioning.
- Identify and recommend improvements to line procedures and equipment to enhance productivity, quality, or safety.
- Fabricate parts using various machines, including mills and lathes.
- Execute qualification and validation protocols for the installation and commissioning of equipment.
- Manage work orders and spare parts identification using SAP.
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation, including log books and timesheets.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Technician or technology diploma preferred).
- 3+ years of relevant maintenance experience.
- Valid Mechanical (Millwright) license in Ontario (Required).
- Proficiency with tools, equipment, and measuring, calibration, or diagnostic devices.
- Knowledge of SAP, PLC, BAS systems, and Windows.
- Understanding of cGMP and WHMIS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or another GMP-regulated environment.
- Electrical license (Industrial or Construction & Maintenance Electrician).
- Calibration certification (Electro-Mechanical, Instrument, or Electronics).
- HVAC Technician certification.
