Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance work orders for industrial equipment including boilers, air compressors, pumps, and filling machines.
• Manage spare parts inventory for site equipment to ensure operational continuity.
• Perform repairs on steam, compressed air, DI water, and gas systems.
• Maintain accurate cGMP documentation, including work orders, maintenance task sheets, and equipment logbooks.
• Operate welding shop tools such as TIG and Arc welding, grinding, and cutting plasma.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and production team leaders to manage day-to-day maintenance tasks.
• Participate in the site on-call rotation and assist with safety and environmental programs.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an accredited technical/trade program in an electro-mechanical or related field.
• 5 years of maintenance and repair experience in a related industrial field.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and equipment schematics.
• Proficiency in basic math applications.
• Ability to lift 20-50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and climbing.
• Ability to work a Sunday – Thursday shift (routinely 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) with mandatory overtime and on-call rotations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working safely in industrial environments using Lockout/tagout, confined space, and hot work permit procedures.
• Competency in PC applications, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong leadership skills and high motivation.
