About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic assessments, scheduling, and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment
- Develop preventative maintenance procedures and document completed work orders
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on rolling stock
- Execute carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills for minor repairs
- Read manuals to assist in repairs
- Maintain a clean and pristine work area
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- General knowledge in maintenance
- Strong knowledge of industrial electric, pump repair, forklift repairs, and plumbing
- Physically capable of manual labor and lifting up to/exceeding 40 lbs
- Ability to obtain a Class A CDL (CDL-A)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school in a related field
- Knowledge of hazardous material handling
- OSHA training
