Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic assessments, scheduling, and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment
• Develop preventative maintenance procedures and document completed work orders
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on rolling stock
• Execute carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills for minor repairs
• Read manuals to assist in repairs
• Maintain a clean and pristine work area

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• General knowledge in maintenance
• Strong knowledge of industrial electric, pump repair, forklift repairs, and plumbing
• Physically capable of manual labor and lifting up to/exceeding 40 lbs
• Ability to obtain a Class A CDL (CDL-A)
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school in a related field
• Knowledge of hazardous material handling
• OSHA training
