Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair conveyor equipment, motors, gear boxes, chain drives, rollers, and belts
• Repair and maintain blower systems, counting, and scanning equipment
• Troubleshoot hydraulic balers, including valve and pump replacements, hydraulic lines, and piping
• Fabricate, repair, and install guarding on material handling equipment
• Repair high pressure air systems and building plumbing systems
• Install and repair various piping and tubing systems (steel, plastic, brass, copper, rubber)
• Troubleshoot and replace electrical circuits, motors, fuses, circuit breakers, and control wiring
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
• Use rigging equipment such as chain falls, hoists, and tele-handlers to move heavy components
• Utilize electrical test equipment including volt meters, ammeters, ohm meters, and meggers

Requirements

• 2-5 years of maintenance experience
• Ability to perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs
• Proficiency in reading schematics and drawings
• Experience with rigging and lifting heavy equipment
• Ability to work the 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM shift, Monday through Friday
