Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic control systems
• Perform routine maintenance work according to standard methods and procedures
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and P&IDs to evaluate system operation
• Maintain plant equipment, machinery, piping, and utility systems
• Troubleshoot the performance of air compressors and other process equipment
• Support process improvement and safety initiatives, including strict adherence to lock-out/tag-out programs

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or GED required
• Trade school certification, advanced certification, or license in a skilled trade area
• Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Ability to work in a union position subject to 3-shift operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and drive troubleshooting and programming
• Demonstrated knowledge of reciprocating pumps, valves, power transmission equipment, and electric motors
