Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, installation, and repair of plant mechanical equipment and systems
• Rebuild rotating equipment, including agitators, compressors, and pumps, to original standards
• Conduct preventative maintenance rounds and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools
• Implement safety and industrial hygiene procedures, including conducting safety audits and inspections
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and equipment manuals
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in accordance with ISO 9001 and quality standards
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with engineering and operations teams
• Remain available for overtime and emergency call-ins as required

Requirements

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and maneuver up to 100 lbs
• Basic computer skills, including experience with email, internet, and CMMS
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work onsite and follow strict safety, health, and environmental policies

• Millwright experience
