Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support by maintaining, repairing, and setting up pharmaceutical production equipment, including filling, packaging, and compounding machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance and execute planned repairs to improve equipment reliability and manufacturing efficiency.
• Apply mechanical and electrical knowledge to perform set-ups, changeovers, and troubleshooting of auxiliary equipment.
• Conduct precision set-ups of printing and vision inspection systems for serialization products.
• Execute continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Assist with the training of new hires, including line service technicians and operators.
• Complete GMP documentation, including batch records and work orders, with high accuracy.
• Monitor and advise management regarding critical spare parts and consumable inventory levels.

Requirements

• Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) certification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, food and beverage, or consumer goods packaging environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Working knowledge of PLCs and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals.
• Excellent command of the English language with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers to manage work order processing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Dual ticketed with an Industrial Electrician license (442A).
