Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain production machinery, mechanical equipment, and computerized systems including pumps, conveyor systems, and motors.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and process issues independently.
• Disassemble machinery to remove parts, examine for defects, and perform repairs or replacements.
• Work on PLC controls, VFD drives, and process instrumentation.
• Perform welding to repair broken metal parts or fabricate new components.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all food safety and quality programs.
• Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team.

Requirements

• High School graduate.
• Minimum of two (2) years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably within the Dairy, Food, or Beverage industry.
• Working knowledge of AC/DC power and control voltages.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC and VFD drives.
• Basic computer hardware and software skills.
• Ability to work the 3rd shift, including overtime and holidays as required.
