Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment problems by analyzing test results, machine error messages, and operator feedback
• Troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain industrial production machinery, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to production needs on the floor as they occur
• Clean, lubricate, adjust, and disassemble machinery to remove parts and make repairs
• Examine parts for defects such as breakage or excessive wear
• Operate and support industrial refrigeration, boiler, and utility operations
• Cut and weld metal to repair broken parts or fabricate new components
• Complete accurate documentation of maintenance records and work orders in MIS/ERP systems
• Comply with all safety regulations, SOPs, and GMP guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration, high-pressure boilers, and utility operations
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Strong mechanical skills and a strong electrical background
• Willingness to work assigned shifts (1st or 3rd), including overtime and weekends as necessary
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with computerized or automated controls
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
