Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, rebuild, repair, or replace pumps, gearboxes, pneumatic cylinders, actuators, solenoids, filters, regulators, oilers, and gauges
• Perform regular preventative maintenance procedures on equipment
• Execute advanced welding for pipe or general fabrication
• Maintain basic general housekeeping standards on the plant floor
• Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, company policies, and procedures
• Participate in daily health and safety programs, including incident investigations and training

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Advanced welding skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, or snow
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime, including being subject to call-ins for equipment breakdowns
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions
