Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to maintain machinery according to blueprints and manuals
• Diagnose and repair machinery breakdowns and handle complex mechanical issues
• Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipment
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior team members
• Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field
• Comprehensive working knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and fluid dynamics
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in noisy or confined spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Powered Industrial Equipment Certification
