Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance activities including lubricating, measuring wear, and observing equipment vibrations or noise levels
• Execute emergency and breakdown maintenance to support continuous plant operations
• Conduct electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam system repairs and installations
• Safely operate the boiler and maintain adequate operating steam pressure
• Use measurement and test equipment accurately to troubleshoot and solve technical problems
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and complete accurate maintenance records and paperwork
• Contribute to a food-safe processing environment through strict adherence to operational and cleaning practices

Requirements

• 5 years of industrial electrical experience and/or a 2-year Industrial Electrical Degree
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills
• Ability to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices
• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shifts and participate in mandatory scheduled overtime
• Ability to perform job duties with or without accommodation
