About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, adjustments, and repairs on piping, plumbing, steam, and process hot water systems.
  • Maintain and repair process equipment including autoclaves, water treatment systems, and various washers.
  • Act as a technical lead on complex jobs, managing small projects and overseeing contractors in the field.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians to support team development.
  • Assist supervisors with the planning and execution of capital and operational work.
  • Ensure workplace safety and environmental practices are strictly followed.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation requiring a response time of 45 minutes or less.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant maintenance experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, equipment schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local codes related to plumbing, electrical, and renovation tasks.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and perform precision maintenance on coupled and belt-driven equipment.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and occasional shift work including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Applicable State licenses in Plumbing, Electrical, or HVAC.
