Maintenance Mechanic II

Responsibilities

• Execute corrective and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and facilities
• Work across multiple specialties including electrical, mechanical, welding, hydraulics, and carpentry
• Diagnose technical failures and propose effective solutions to ensure operational continuity
• Perform emergency repairs with a focus on safety and quality
• Interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and maintenance documentation
• Maintain updated records of maintenance activities and equipment history
• Support continuous improvement processes to reduce operational costs

Requirements

• Technical degree in Mechanics, Electromechanics, Electrical, or related fields
• Previous experience in industrial maintenance within a production environment
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Solid understanding of safety standards and safe work practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Availability to work in shifts if applicable

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in chemical, food, or pharmaceutical industrial environments
• Knowledge of industrial automation and PLCs
• Additional technical certifications (such as NR10, NR35, etc.)
• Experience in leadership or mentoring less experienced professionals
