Maintenance Mechanic I

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to support plant production
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum systems
• Rebuild and modify production machines and components to support technology improvements
• Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical test instruments to diagnose and resolve issues
• Analyze machine failures for root cause and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain Maximo work orders and complete all essential quality records
• Support Lean Maintenance, TPM, and 6S principles to maintain a clean and safe work area
• Collaborate with engineers, technologists, and quality personnel on equipment projects and installations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical systems repair or industrial maintenance
• Ability to individually lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Capability to bend, stoop, squat, climb, and reach above shoulder level
• Standard visual acuity, including the capacity to differentiate colors

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a technical field
