About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on process and plant equipment
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair process and auxiliary equipment
  • Maintain pumps, motors, couplings, minor electrical systems, heat exchangers, blowers, piping, compressed air, and steam systems
  • Perform millwrighting tasks including pump/motor alignment, fabrication, and rigging
  • Research supplies, parts, and tools needed for work orders
  • Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of parts
  • Perform construction tasks including equipment installation, piping, and electrical
  • Comply with company policies, environmental regulations, and personal safety standards
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain facility housekeeping

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with pumps, valves, couplings, pneumatic systems, and steam systems
  • Knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, and basic electrical wiring/troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and draw mechanical drawings and diagrams
  • Ability to operate aerial manlifts and work in confined spaces
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 50 feet
  • Ability to stand or walk up to 12 hours per shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to wear a respirator for up to 4 hours a day
  • Must meet DOT vision requirements and not wear contact lenses
  • Acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical certification in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields
  • Experience with welding, fabrication, or PLC/Controls
  • Knowledge of process instrumentation, water treatment, or DCS
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
