Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Maintain manufacturing, filling, and packaging equipment following SOPs
• Maintain plant utility systems including HVAC, boilers, air compressors, and Water for Injection (WFI)
• Perform electrical, plumbing, and light construction repairs
• Assist with development and documentation of preventative maintenance and calibration programs
• Document all maintenance and calibration events in the CMMS
• Coordinate services with outside vendors for routine maintenance
• Monitor equipment daily to troubleshoot problems and inefficiencies
• Provide after-hours support and weekend emergency service as needed

Requirements

• Experience in a cGMP regulated environment
• Previous experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• 2-3 years of experience, preferably in a clean room environment
• Familiarity with machine controls including PLCs, relay logic, and operator interfaces
• Ability to troubleshoot low voltage (DC) and high voltage (120VAC) systems
• Familiarity with plant utility systems, compressors, and HVAC
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain accurate electronic records
